Repairing dents is accomplished very much along the same lines as the filling and/or replacing of auto body rust holes.
Dents become more noticeable in the vehicle the nearer they should be eye level. This means that we're also more likely to receive a poor repair in the top of half of the body a lower half.
Finding some of the dents
The higher the gloss from the existing paints, the simpler to see all originates from dents. It is not as easy however, when an adult paint is dull. Even professional painters can be caught out by an obscure dent that just became noticeable when the gloss paint was layered.
Firstly, ensure that the car is clean. Then park your pickup in an unlit lot. Repairing small dents
To repair dents all the way to 50mm across you:
1. 80 grit Drilube sandpaper
2. Wood workers hammer
3. Flat block as wood
4. Auto body filler.
Don't attempt to exhort small dents. It usually causes more problems as opposed to worth. The exception to a great where the dent has caused an outward bulging inside metal surrounding the damage.
